Please mark your calendars on March 22, 2008 for the annual Track to the Future Auction hosted by the Marymoor Velodrome Association ("MVA") held at the Mercer Island Community Center. This annual auction directly supports our grassroots racing development program and is the starting line for tomorrow's champions.

In 2007, the MVA had one of its most successful seasons ever. We are already working on next year's programs to increase women's participation and introduce more groups of kids to the exciting sport of bicycle racing. The 2007 Track to the Future Auction raised over $20,000 and was attended by more than 120 people.

In 2008, we hope to have another capacity crowd with 150 attendees and raise $30,000. The proceeds from the auction assist young riders by underwriting the costs of coaching, race support, and the acquisition of youth track bikes.

We would appreciate your support in the form of a donation that we could use either in the silent auction or our extremely popular live auction. In order to produce the auction catalog by our deadline of January 5, 2008, please contact us prior to this date to make sure your item will be included. Auction items are still coming in.
