On Saturday, March 22nd 2008, the Marymoor Velodrome Association ("MVA") raised more than $20,000 at its annual Track to the Future Dinner & Fundraiser Auction. The MVA is a non-profit, volunteer organization that manages educational and competition programs at the Group Health Velodrome in Marymoor Park located in Redmond, Washington. From April through December the MVA manages the promotion of over sixty Track Racing and Cyclocross events, as well as seventy days of cycling classes.

Proceeds from Saturday night's event will directly support MVA's programs such as introductory track cycling classes, kid's Peewee Pedalers classes, and racing at the Group Health Velodrome. Through the generous support of our auction donors, MVA had a broad spectrum of items to bid for during our Silent and Live Auction ranging from custom track frames to lovely glass art to weekend getaways in Winthrop.

Pre-Season Racing will be on May 2nd, May 9th, May 16th and May 23rd.

Regular season Friday Night Racing will start on May 30th and go through September 12th.

Wednesday Night Racing will start on May 14th and go through September 10th.

Monday Night Racing will start on May 12th and go through August 26th.

After a short break, we'll start planning for the 2009 track to the Future Auction. In the meantime, I would like to say a special THANK YOU to our contributors who made this year's event possible:
