Looking back at 2017, new positions on the board, and a summary of how Post-season is going so far. That and much more in this month’s minutes.
It’s short and sweet, but it’s still the minutes from August.
It’s that time of year. We need new board members! 3 positions will be opening up at the end of this season (all two-year terms).
And in case there is any confusion, the pile of cash sitting behind that “SIGN UP NOW” button is definitely awaiting applicants. (It’s a volunteer thing, so really no cash.) So don’t hesitate to join up with the board today and collect your share of some BIG cash! (No, really, it’s volunteer thing, just trying to spice this up a bit.)
Sitting on the MVA board is a great way to directly affect change within the organization. It’s how we’re able to maintain and grow events like the Marymoor Grand Prix, Fred’s Race, our weekly race series, moto-pacing and new rider classes.
Deadline for submission is Oct 2nd. The current Board will review the applications and new members will be installed at the October 17, 2017 meeting. Haste makes waste so get your applications in soon!
