Monday Night Racing

The Monday Night Racing series develops racers for the Friday Night Racing program and also offers our developing junior riders a night on the track.

2010 Dates

  • Mondays, June 7th – August 30th: 2010 Monday Night Race Schedule
  • NO racing Monday, July 26
  • Racing starts at 7PM
  • Registration will close approx 20 minutes prior to racing.

Race Categories

  • Juniors
  • Cat 4 Men
  • OPEN Time Trials (200m, 500m/Kilo, 2k/3k/4k Pursuit)
  • OPEN Sprint Mania (must have 200m time from Time Trial night)
  • OPEN Madison Racing

PLEASE NOTE: OPEN Time Trials, OPEN Sprint Mania and OPEN Madison Racing will take place on alternating weeks. Please refer to the 2010 Monday Night Race Schedule to find out which category will be racing each week.

Racing License and Fees

  • A current USA Cycling license is required.
  • 2010 entry fee for adults $15
  • 2010 entry fee for juniors $5
  • MVA membership required- $40 Annual/$10 Single Day

Rental Bikes

  • Available for Monday Night racing.
  • Rental fee = $10/night.
  • Must sign a waiver.

Spectator Info

  • Admission is free.

Note: Rain cancels racing. Since weather is extremely variable in the Puget Sound area it is often difficult to know if it will be dry and safe ahead of time. If it is looking like rain on race night, we'll try to provide cancellation updates starting at 5:30pm on the MVA twitter, www.twitter.com/marymoortrack. To view the conditions near the velodrome, check the WSDOT camera.
