Thursday Night
The Thursday Night Racing series is designed for new racers coming from our Adult Track Classes. The racing program is determined nightly based on the needs and mix of the riders. Categories may be combined based on needs, field sizes, and safety concerns. Riders must have completed the MVA Track Class, become a member of the MVA and have a USA Cycling license in order to race. Join the MVA info mailing list for updates on when the 2009 Race Book will be available.
2009 Dates
- Thursdays, May 7th – August 27th
- Racing starts at 7:00PM and finishes between 9:00 to 9:30PM
- Registration is open from 6:00 to 6:45.

- Cat 5 Men
- Cat 4 Women
Gear Recommendations
- New Riders- a racing gear of 86 (48x15) or below is strongly recommended
Racing License and Fees
- A current USA Cycling license is required. One-day licenses will be available at registration for riders Category 4 and below. Or, go to USA Cycling and purchase your annual license in advance to save time!
- 2009 entry fee for Adults $15
- 2009 entry fee for Juniors $5
- *MVA membership required - $40 Annual/ $10 Single-Day
*MVA membership is available for purchase when you come to race (NOT online)
Rental Bikes
- Available for Thursday Night racing.
- Rental fee = $10/night.
- Must sign a waiver.
Spectator Info
- Admission is free.
Note: Rain cancels racing. Since weather is extremely variable in the Puget Sound area it is often difficult to know if it will be dry and safe ahead of time. If it is looking like rain on race night, we'll try to provide cancellation updates starting at 5:30pm on the MVA hotline (206-957-4555).
