Welcome to the new Marymoor Velodrome Associate website!
Update! The site is getting closer to completion, now that registration and many of the social features have been updated. The biggest problems appear to have been solved and most of the complaints/concerns have stopped flooding my inbox. However, if you have an urgent problem or situation that needs resolution, please contact me ASAP at webadm@velodrome.org. I recognize we had a pretty bumpy launch for the website and I want to make a public thank you to everyone for their patience and their willingness to report problems and errors.
There appears to still be some problem with the server authenticating new users properly (only in rare circumstances) making it difficult for 1 out of every 25 or so to sign in for the first time, limiting them from posting in our forums and signing up for classes online. If this is the case for someone you know, please have them contact me at webadm@velodrome.org and I can provide them with a work-a-round!
Please see below for the current project log as it stands at the beginning of the pre-season.
Completed so far:
- Class Registrations
- Google Calendar integration
- Twitter Commenting
- Forum stickies containing downloadable documents, such as minutes, UCI cycling documents, etc
- Some formating related to the display of articles on the front page
- Some resizing/scaling issues for use on mobile devices (set aside for now, website now renders the same on all devices)
- Results System (temporary but working solution)
- Sponsorship Page
- Marymoor Grand Prix
If you don't see a project you think we might benefit from listed here, please feel free to reply to this post and I'll ammend it to my list. I can't promise I'll maintain the speed at which I've been working lately, but I'm certain between Ian, Amara and I, we'll be able to get everything up and running.
Until then, enjoy the new site!
Cory

When I signed up for the track class, it sent me back to a page that said "click here to see your past purchased items". When I clicked on that link, it said "Permission Denied".
I also don't see that link anywhere else in my profile.
Let me see if I can get to the bottom of that. Some verifying questions to help me troubleshoot the issue:
What browser are you using? Is it up-to-date?
Which link did you initially follow to access the registration? Were you able to fully register and pay without error?
Past purchases button? Orders in our system are saved as Order #, which you can see past orders via your "My account" region of the site. I'll see if I can find your order through the administrative side and check for permissions while I'm at it.
Thanks for your message.
I think I found a simple solution to the problem.
While logged in, try navigating to your My Account now and viewing the orders tab. This should work as intended, as long as you were able to complete the registration form.
To answer your questions:
Signed up using latest version of Firefox.
I have looked at "My Account" on Firefox (latest version), Google Chrome (Latest Version) and IE 9.
None of them show past purchases under "My Account"
Yes I was logged in when I registered for the class. It would not let me register until an account was created or loged in and I used the registration button that was on the front of the site.
Oh, and yes, I was able to pay without error until I clicked to return to the website from the Pay Pal site, when I clicked to "View my order" is when I got the permission denied.
I have a PayPal confirmation number.
Changed permissions, error on my part. Thanks for your follow-through answers, let me know if you can see orders now.
Yup! Order tab now shows up next to the View/Edit Tabs, and my order is listed and correct.
Thank You,
New site looks great btw.
Pretty dang cool site! Nice job! Is there any way to view last years results?
Thanks!
Aaron
We are still working on the results system. The results system is what originally crashed the website, so we are taking our time with that. We will post an update once we get it functioning. To view the results on the new website you will have to be logged in, and then the option is on the left hand side.
Energy surges through the track and up the banking into the rails. This explains the bends in the railing- another victim of the power of Racer.
