Friday Night
The Friday Night Track Racing series ("The Show") is thrilling action for racers and spectators alike. World-class athletes compete under the spotlights while family and friends picnic on the lawn or enjoy the view from the stands. The popular "Kiddie Kilo" happens the first and third Fridays of each month.
2010 Dates
- Preseason Fridays, May 7, 14, 21 and 28: 2010 Preseason Friday Night Race Schedule
- Fridays, June 4th – September 10th: 2010 Friday Night Race Schedule
- NO racing Friday, July 30
- Racing will begin at 7PM
- Registration will close approx. 20 minutes prior to racing.
Race Categories
- Cat 1&2 Men
- Cat 3 Men
- Cat 1,2,3 Women
- Note: Cat 1-4 Men and Women are invited to PRESEASON Racing.
Racing License and Fees
- A current USA Cycling license is required.
- 2010 entry fee for Adults $20
- 2010 entry fee for Juniors $5
- MVA Membership required - $40 Annual/$10 Single-Day
Kiddie Kilo
Races for kids aged 2-12 will be held during the 2010 season on the 1st and 3rd Friday of June, July, August and September. Race entry is free, so just bring a kid, a bike and a helmet! Parental permission is required.
Spectator Info
- Admission rate is $5 per person.
- Kids 16 and under are free.
- Beer garden opens at 7:00PM
Note: Rain cancels racing. Since weather is extremely variable in the Puget Sound area it is often difficult to know if it will be dry and safe ahead of time. If it is looking like rain on race night, we'll try to provide cancellation updates starting at 5:30pm on the MVA twitter, www.twitter.com/marymoortrack.
