Elections for the 2011-2012 MVA Board
Interested in making a difference in the MVA racing community? See something you want to improve? Run for a MVA Board position! This two-year member elected position requires board members to actively seek and contribute items for the annual MVA auction as well as attend once a month board meetings. Board members don't have to be racers. Elections will be held on Tuesday, September 14 at 6pm at Patterson Cellars. Candidate statements are due by September 7 to the program coordinator. They will be posted here on the 8th.

Monday Night Madison tonight! Riders with previous Madison experience or who have taken a Madison clinic are eligible to race the Madison on Monday nights. Please bring a unique, like jersey for you and your partner. Tonight is also the culmination of our Elite Track Nationals Qualifier event- the match sprints. Eight riders will qualify for the sprint tournament based on their 200 m time tonight (every one else will be done for the night). Monday Night Racing Schedule- August 9 (Including some events that were rained out at the Nationals Qualifier)
Unfortunately, rain got the best of us on Saturday during our Elite Nationals Qualifier event and we weren't able to complete the racing program. The remaining events will be split between this Monday, August 9th (Men 4k Pursuit, Women and Men Team Sprint and Team Pursuit), and next Monday, August 16th (Sprint Tournament for Men and Women). To allow for these additions, we will be running a slightly modified Monday Night Racing program.
