PreSeason Wednesday Clinics

We have tremendous news for you! Let’s agree on something. Unless you are World
Champion and win every race you ever enter, there is always something that you can
improve on. Since we have few World Champions in the MVA community (we do have
several!), for the 2013 season we are offering up a way for you to improve on your track
racing skills.

They say that racing is the best practice. Do they actually say that? I just did, and I give
it my full endorsement. However, if you want to practice for racing, there are usually few
options. Training is one thing, but learning the skills and strategies used within actual
races is another animal all together.

In the month of May, the MVA is offering PreSeason clinics for racers of all skill levels.
These clinics will provide you with the opportunity to learn tactics, ask questions, and
learn new skills that you will be able to use throughout the racing season.

Starting on the second Wednesday in May, these clinics will cover various topics each
week. From 6-9 PM, you will practice: Week one- Sprints; Week two- Keirin; Week
three- Madison; Week four- Mass start races.

For only $15.00 (that’s only five dollars an hour, people!) you get to spend three hours
doing simulations where you are beating your rivals. I will not make promises, but if you
show up to these clinics you will be beating your rivals come race season. I promise.
