The MVA has development funds available! ($$$)
To enable our riders to reach the next level, the MVA has set aside funds to ensure costs are not the reason a rider cannot attend a camp/clinic or represent Marymoor at a National event. Everyone competing at these events or preparing to compete are eligible – see the below list for all the information you need.
Who: Any Junior, Collegiate, or Elite competitor
Qualifications: Marymoor must be your current home track and you must have raced at Marymoor at least 10 times in the last calendar year. Rider must also be an MVA member.
Eligible Events: Junior, Collegiate and Elite Nationals as well as camps or clinics (Jennie Reed Clinic, MVA clinics, USACycling camps, etc.)
Amount awarded: The amount you will receive is based on two important variables. 1) The number of riders receiving grants and 2) the amount of expenses those riders report.
How to apply: Send an email to annettelw@gmail.com. Include the event name, dates, and detailed expected out of pocket expenses.
When will you receive money: After the event is completed and actual expenses are submitted. Please be sure to track your expenses accurately and remember to submit them upon your return.
