Beverage Garden Sponsors Galore!!

Dear Marymoor Velodrome,
All this talk about racing and starting the season has got me slightly parched. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I like a good track race, but I must say the days can often carry on well into the evening, and I’m a fan who just needs a BIT more incentive to come out to the track sometimes. If only the track could offer me, a loyal fan who is definitely not the Web Admin writing in a strange disembodied first-person voice, some adult refreshments to wet my whistle.

Well thirsty “fan”, let’s see if we can satisfy your craving.

We begin our tour with the finest Northwest Grape Juice. It’s old, but somehow that makes it better?

OS Winery once again brings back the custom Red Line label to support the track in the 2015 season. If you haven’t tried it yet, your wine-loving, i’m-better-then-you, sophisticated self is really crying out for some. This unique red blend is really enjoyable and was made just for us! Get a glass in the beverage garden or take home a bottle.

Next stop on our boozy tour, we venture forth in search of the perfect balance of wheat, barley, yeast, hops, happiness, poor decisions, some kind of connection to watching lots of sports, hippy combinations with fruits and stuff, something about Belgium vs everything else, ales, IPA’s, darks, stouts, blondes, creams, reds, and lots of other things that could be mistaken for descriptors of hair color… BEEEEEER!!!

Mac & Jack’s makes a triumphant return as our beer sponsor for the 2015 season, providing us with keg after keg of their fantastic brewed gold. The African Amber and the Two Tun IPA make up the majority of the stuff. And it’s good stuff! Come down to the track and enjoy a pint (or two, or three if it’s with me)!

And for our final stop… it’s not hard alcohol? Oh wait, it’s cider? Wasn’t expecting that one!

The MVA is excited to announce our newest beverage sponsor to the track, Locust Cider! Locust Cider is a racer-owned establishment that couldn’t help but give back something to the greatest track on earth. Using mostly Pacific Northwest apples, the cider they are blessing our taste buds with is a traditional cider, which they describe as accessible, gluten free and on the dry-end of the spectrum. They use some kind of fancy cold fermentation process with something about aging or… just try this stuff. Seriously. I feel like I’m writing a novel about stuff that practically sells itself.

If you want to support them in person, the Cidery will be open soon in Woodinville at 19151 144th Ave NE.

And some fun sneak peak progress photos of Locust – looking AWESOME!

Hope everyone is thirsty – see you at the track!
