Try the Track classes are just that - an opportunity to try the track! These 1 hour classes will give you a taste of what riding a track bike on the velodrome is all about. Try the Track is NOT required as a precursor to take the Adult Classes or Youth Camps. They offer a short, fun, and focused chance to experience riding on the track with JBMV staff there to support you and get you jump started, without investing in a full race-prep course.


Try the Track Classes include track bike rental at no additional cost! Try the Track classes do not include any group riding and class sizes will be kept to 10 riders maximum.

  • Adult Try the Track - 1 hour - $10
  • Youth (Ages 9-16) Try the Track - 1.5 hours - FREE

What to Bring

Participants must already be able to ride a bicycle, but do not need to own their own track bike. (Remember? Included track bike rental!)

  • Helmet (required)
  • Water bottle
  • Athletic clothes
  • Masks (bring 2 if you can, see our suggestions here)
  • Cycling shoes & pedals (optional)
