2020 Registration Suspended

Adult Track classes are offered throughout the track season on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4pm (April-August). The class teaches track cycling fundamentals and must be completed by anyone who wishes to participate in bicycle racing at the Marymoor Velodrome.

Please be advised, all racing is subject to cancellation due to rain. Click here for more info.

Cost

The fee for the MVA Track Class is $50. This fee includes:

  • 4 hour class with bike rental included
  • 2 FREE Thursday Night Race entries ($40 value)
  • A FREE Punch-card for 5 Bike Rentals ($50 value)
  • Discounted Membership for the Current Year ($40 instead of $80)

Offer only available for beginners and first-time participants. And what a deal this is! You get a lot of bang for your buck when you sign up for an adult track class at the Velodrome.

What to Bring

Participants must already be able to ride a bicycle, but do not need to own their own track bike. Bike rental fees are waived for all track class participants. All participants must bring with them a helmet. In addition, if participants have cycling shoes and pedals, they can be installed on rental bikes before the class begins. (Rental bikes have pedals that can be used with street shoes as well!) Plan to wear athletic clothing, preferably cycling clothes as possible. Bring a water bottle and a snack - the class is four hours long!

We offer educational opportunities for experienced riders as well as new! The best way to learn is to race more, so make sure you're visiting the track regularly during our weekly race sessions on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
