As many of you know, there has been a passionate debate about MVA Board decisions over the past two months…particularly with regard to moto usage and Board structure. In the absence of information, it is human nature to write a negative story. In an effort to break this cycle, the Board will hold a Town Hall on Thursday August 14th (details below). We will provide a summary of the Board’s responsibilities, the actions it has taken to meet those obligations and provide an open forum for members to voice questions, concerns and solutions.
The issues with which we struggle affect the entire Association. They impact the short and long terms goals of the community. They impact our relationship with King County and whether the velodrome will survive Light Rail. And they impact the ability to recruit and retain qualified, motivated board members to lead us in the future.
Please join us in this important discussion.
All The Best,
Guy Tucker
