The Jerry Baker Development Fund

Started several years ago as a way for Jerry and the MVA to support up-and-coming racers, the MVA continues to maintain a line item specifically for providing financial support for racers looking to up their game. The funds are awarded to applicants on annual basis with the intent of providing either partial or full financial support of race fees, transportation, housing and food. These benefits are available to all racers in our region that complete an application.

Application – July 10th Deadline

Any athletes interested should complete the below application form by July 10th. All applications will be reviewed by the board at the July 12th meeting and applicants will be notified of their application status via e-mail. Before any costs will be reimbursed, athletes will need to complete a report to the MVA that includes the actual costs of the trip as well as a brief write-up of the event.
