Here at Velodrome.org, it’s our duty to keep everyone posted on when and where anything Marymoore Velodrome-related is occurring.  This week is jam-packed with events, class registration opening up (and some chances to register early), and even more roller racing.  Let’s take a look at where the MVA will be hanging and where you should try and find yourself at.  And for everyone’s sanity, let’s lay it out chronologically!

Women on Wheels – Feb. 27th

This Thursday, February 27th, Women on Wheels at Gregg’s Cycles Greenlake Store will play host to the MVA Roller Racing setup.  While folks are free to hangout and enjoy the gathering, all the excitement will be up on stage thanks to our head-to-head format, pitting riders in an all-out sprint for 400 meters.  Not only can anyone jump up and try out the race, but this will also be the first time we take registration for our Track Classes!

Check out more about the event and register (FOR FREE!) on their website.

Seattle Bike Expo – March 1st and 2nd

Featuring great new products, exciting offers, and of course, a booth with the MVA, the Bike Expo is an exciting gathering of cycling enthusiasts under one roof.  The event runs from March 1st through the 2nd and can be found at the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal 91. You can find out all about the Bike Expo on their website!

Just like Women on Wheels, you can register for the track classes in advance of the online registration by visiting our booth, #502. Hope to see you there!

Roller Race #2 – March 1st

The heated contest continues in the second of three races in our series.  Riders will continue to compete for points in our just-for-fun (but not really) competition that pits riders against each other on our fixed-bike rig.  If the first roller race was any indication, this should be a great gathering!

Held just outside Element Cycles in Redmond, any and everyone is invited to participate.  No previous skills or equipment is required to ride on the roller race rig.  Registration is free and there is no cost to race.  We’ll even have Seattle Biscuit Company hanging out to serve up their unique brand of biscuit turned sandwich.  Come check it out!
