This past weekend was full of excitement both on and off the track (thanks PNW for reverting back to your drizzly self at the worst possible time). We could talk about each race and recap all the cancellations, the drama, the shenanigans, the results… but we figure that pictures are worth thousands of words! Let’s take a quick look back.
If you’re here looking for results, we’ve got you covered. USA Cycling has all results listed, and GC Racing also posted some additional info from day 2.
World Champion Sarah Hammer wins big and takes the Women’s Omnium!
Columbian competitor Juan Esteban Arango takes top place in the Men’s Omnium!
… And Juan beats a 25 year old “unbeatable” 4k track record!
Dominic Suozzi wins the Pyatt Broadmark Management Mens Sprints!
And Missy Erickson takes the Pyatt Broadmark Management Womens Sprints!
Close finishes make for AWESOME racing!
The real heroes of the weekend, the awesome volunteers and the battle to keep the track dry!
Finally, the fan favorite Marymoor Crawl, featuring Dominic and Jim Flynn with some serious fan “support”!
Thanks again for an awesome weekend. See you all again in 2016!!
