WHEN: July 1st – 3rd
WHERE: The Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome is located at King County’s Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA.
WHO: Cat 1-4 Men and Women and Juniors! Juniors can race in their respective categories and their age group categories.
WAT TO BRING: USA Cycling or UCI License, a fixed gear bike with no brakes and an approved helmet. Novice/Cat 4 Men and Women need to have the correct gearing, rollout 22’3” (86” easily achieved by 48×15), 45+ Cat 4/5 riders with their own bikes can ride a 90” gear (50×15). Juniors need to follow their USAC approved gear restrictions. Be prepared for varying weather condidtions with extra warm clothes. RAIN delays or cancels racing! Updates will be sent out via email to registered riders and updates will be posted to social media as well.
REGISTRATION/ENTRY FEE: Adult – $30 FNR Fee , U23/Juniors – $50 fee for whole weekend of racing and clinics. Annual JBMV Membership are $20 ($10 for new riders). Rental Bikes are available for $10 a session (Free for juniors/women).
PRIZES: Special event prize list for Friday Night – Total payout prior to primes – $1265

2022 Marymoor Carnival SATURDAY June 11th Registration
Friday is cancelled, but you can still sign-up for Saturday.
Once again luck does not seem to be on our side this season and combined with low pre-reg numbers, races and upcoming races elsewhere, and more forecasted storms, we have decided to cancel the Friday of the Carnival. We have created a new, less madison focused, event for Saturday! See the schedule below. In order for this to go ahead, we are going to need 40 people pre-reg’d by Friday at 7pm other wise we will cancel and see y’all next week!
Thank you for registering for the 2022 Marymoor Carnival Saturday only. With Friday cancelled, we’re putting together a slightly modified and hopefully inviting race program. We hope you can join us!

Thank you for registering for the 2022 Marymoor Carnival! This unique and fun race program has some things about it that might surprise you!
Most importantly, please take note of the following:
- Although the event occurs over two days, you cannot register separately for each day. You register for all of it or none of it!
- The groupings are suggested – Madisons, Group B, Group C, and Group D are up to your discretion but the following guidelines may help in your decision making.
- Madison – Category 1/2/3 Men/Women with Madison experience
- Group B – Open 1/2/3
- Group C – 3/4 Men (not gear restricted)
- Group D – Women and juniors (not gear restricted)

When: July 15, 16, 17th (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), 2022
Where: The Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome is located in King County’s Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA. Take SR 520 east to West Lake Sammamish Pkwy/Marymoor Park exit. Proceed to velodrome and park in the parking lot or parking pad closest to track. Parking is $1 per day.
Course Description: 400m cement velodrome with 25 degree banking.
Timed Events:
All racers who have completed a track class are eligible for timed events.
Mass Start Events:
- Juniors age 11-18 (A/B/C/D). All USAC rules will be in effect including gear restrictions (with rollout). Junior C/D cannot use aerobars or wheels with less than 16 spokes. Fields may be raced together but will be scored separately.
- Elite Men (Category 1-3) and Women (Category 1-4). Will not be scored separately by category.
- Masters Men 35-49 (Category 1-3), Masters Men 50+ (Category 1-4), Masters Women 35+ (Category 1-4). Will be raced as listed on the schedule, but scored separately by 5-yr age grouping.
Match Sprints:
- Junior M 15-18 (must be Cat 4) & Junior W 15-18 (must be Cat 4)
- Elite Men (must be Cat 4) & Elite Women (must be Cat 4)
- Master Men 35-44, 45-54, 55+ (must be Cat 4) & Master Women (must be Cat 4)
Keirin:
- Junior M 15-18 (must be Cat 4), Junior W 15-18 (must be Cat 4, raced with Elite/Master Women, scored separately)
- Elite Men (must be Cat 3) & Elite Women (must be Cat 4, raced with Master Women & W15-18 Juniors, scored separately)
- Master Men 35-49 (must be Cat 3, not scored separately), Master Men 50+ (must be Cat 4, not scored separately), Master Women (must be Cat 4, raced with Elite Women & W15-18 Juniors, scored separate but not scored by 5-year age group)
What to Bring: USA Cycling or UCI License, a fixed gear track bike with no brakes and an approved helmet. Be prepared for varying weather conditions with extra warm clothes. Rental bikes are available to Cat 4 and Junior riders only. Tents and shade providing fixtures are also highly encouraged.
Cost: Elites/Masters – $10 per event, $5 for Team Sprint and Team Pursuit, $30 for Elite International Omnium (4 races). U23 – $5 per event, $15 for International Omnium (4 races). Rental bikes are $10 per day and are available to category 4 riders only. People will register online and pay onsite when they check-in first.
Registration: Online Registration is required. You must check in prior to the times below, unless specifically stated differently by the race director (possible for TT session and sprints, check your welcome email).

Prizes: Regional championship medals (3 deep) will be awarded to residents of Washington, Idaho, Oregon and British Colombia for every race. Juniors(B/C/D) will have individual race podiums but the regional jersey will only be awarded for the overall omnium.

This unique race is an opportunity for an International Omnium Format + Sprinters focused racing on the same day. Register now for this great racing opportunity!
On the My Registered Races page, you may unregister yourself from any race event up to the night before the event, as start lists will be generated the evening before racing. Removing yourself from a race event online will credits your account one race credit that you can use for any race registration free of charge.
