Live audiences make the racing that much more exciting. Our big show is Friday Night! Join us in person for great racing, an sprint invitational with top local talent, our beverage garden serving Locust Ciders and Postdoc Brewing, the kiddie kilo (more below) and our food trucks The Panini Truck, HP Smokehouse BBQ and Hugs and Mini Donuts.

Derby Days Kidde Kilo

The Kiddie Kilo invites littles, youngsters, kids up through age 12 to the track to ride whatever bike, trike, push bike, unicorn on two or more wheels, or any bike-adjacent they got for a fun lap around the track. What more could you ask for?!?

Join us on Friday, July 11th during the Friday Night Race in celebrating the future of sport (and all things!) when we send off more than an anticipated 100 young athletes for their free and fun lap around the track.

Parents: no pre-registration required. Show up and sign-up during the race.

Adult Track Class – Derby Days Special!

Starting as a track cyclist is as easy as signing up for a class. Whether your a seasoned cyclist or just want to check something off your bucket list the Intro Adult Class is the way to go.

Sunday, July 13th 12-4pm – Adult Intro Class REGISTRATION

  • Just $40 for a 4 hour class
    • Includes 1 FREE beginner race entry
    • Discounted Velodrome Membership

Since the beginning of Derby Days, it’s been about bicycles. Known then as the Redmond Bicycle Derby, the “race around the lake” has always been about how integral cycling is to the Redmond community. The race, and the surrounding event, has looked different ways over the years, but no community of cyclists has caried the tradition of great cycling community up better than the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome!

The City of Redmond and the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome are teaming up once again to make Derby Days an incredible event at the track – you don’t want to miss it! There’s lots of ways to get involved around over the weekend. If you live in or near Redmond, you owe it to yourself to come out to the velodrome!
