MVA Board – Looking for Members Now!

It’s that time of year. We need new board members! 5 positions will be opening up at the end of this season (4×2 year term, 1×1 year term).

Sitting on the MVA board is a great way to directly affect change within the organization. It’s how we’re able to maintain and grow events like the Marymoor Grand Prix, Fred’s Race, our weekly race series, e-pacing and new rider classes.

Deadline for submission is September 8th. The current Board will review the applications and new members will be installed at the September 10th, 2019 meeting. Haste makes waste so get your applications in soon!

The board meets monthly in Redmond and board members are expected to be active on Slack and emails.

Development Grant Fund Applications

Riders seeking development grants from the Marymoor Velodrome Association can fill out one of these grant requests at any time of the year! These funds are intended to help athletes from our racing community make the leap to the next step and make racing and training opportunities more affordable. This includes but is not limited to events like Nationals, Worlds, international racing, ODP Camps, JNTC races, and other similar events.

Funds are provided as reimbursement following the event. Please provide as much as information as you can at the time of filling out the grant.

Please note, recipients will be required to complete a follow-up race report and thank you to the Jerry Baker Velo community after the event.
